-The Chapter's Video Notes (not practice questions)
-This can be handed in with up to two (2) separate word (or pdf) files*. But in case you run into resolution issues, consider doing the following (copied from the Policies):
-
Try setting your scanner resolution smaller before scanning
In MS Word, be sure to use "File" "Reduce File Size…"
Try saving the document as a pdf and see if that shrinks the size
The following webpages are helpful for consolidating files - you don’t need to install anything, just upload your files and download the pdf to submit in the hand-in box:
Try taking pictures of the pages with a digital camera (keeping the resolution reasonably lower), even laying them on the floor doing 4 pages at once (2 X 2 grid) if it helps, combined with maybe saving as a pdf as well (especially if you're using a PC – that often works well)
(And an awesome option is to try the awesome free App called "CamScanner" (it's all I use for all my scanning!) and then convert to pdf after pasting, or simply by putting all the pictures together.)
Finally, if none of this works, call Tech: 1-877-630-8324.
If all of this doesn't work, then try breaking the files into half. But the above should work, so please be sure to do those first.
*Note: Be sure to submit your own note-taking from the videos as opposed to someone else's. All work is stored indefinitely on moodle, so if any of the submitted items are discovered to be someone else's, it will be considered cheating, and will result in immediate withdrawal from the course and a mark on your permanent record. We've had to do this before, so please respect your own education.
When can you expect assignment feedback?!
Usually you can expect to receive assignment feedback within 2 business days - occassionally 3 - but meanwhile, just continue working on the course, whether the next lesson or chapter, etc. so that you don't lose any time.
What if I need to resubmit?
Just resubmit it here in the same hand in box. (But not the video notes again, only the corrections. ) IMPORTANT - for our record keeping purposes, when resubmitting, do NOT delete any of the previous files!! (If you must do that in order to make room to upload the new file(s), you must include the original work again somehow.)
